Walking tours

Since 2015, I regularly do theatre history walks in Budapest. The walk is focusing on the venues of the so-called ‘Budapest Broadway’ and its neighbourhood. Before the Second World War, the two main nightclubs (Arizona and the Moulin Rouge, facing each other on the street) were known around the globe: even the US edition of Vogue magazine praised their shows.

When I have an exhibition going on, I always try squeeze in as many guided tours as my schedule allows. It begins just like my walk: please come closer and keep asking questions, I’m here to answer them! However, I think the audience usually leaves with more questions about life and theatre than they had before; and the answers are up to them.
